local food awards

The shop has been ticking over very nicely this last week, the rhubarb and Yorkshire beetroot have been doing very well, lots of different recipes for you to choose from, you would be surprised what you can do with beetroot (the beetroot and chocolate cake made by Dee is out of this world) so keep coming.

On a different note, we had a nice surprise this week - both the Green Valley Grocer and the HandMade Bakery have been short listed for a local food award and are invited to go to the mayor's awards ceremony, so keep posted and we will let you know how we get on.
